Caroline Sainvitu
CENAEROBiography
Minamo Team Leader. Caroline Sainvitu got a PhD in Applied Mathematics (numerical optimization) and joined Cenaero in 2007 as a Senior researcher. She now leads the Minamo development team. Research interests focused on the development of surrogate-assisted optimization techniques for high-fidelity simulations, with expertise in Design of Experiments, global and local numerical optimization, surrogate modelling, machine learning, data analysis and computer programming.
The team is involved in the development of
- Minamo, the Cenaero’s design space exploration, optimization and data-mining platform
- methodologies related to surrogate-assisted optimization techniques for expensive cost functions, data analytics, and control in varied industries.
